About the photographer
Becky grew up with horses her entire
life, starting with a Shetland pony named Coco that her
grandfather purchased for $100. She worked with Arabians
& National Show Horses while in high school then in
college worked with Quarter Horses, Paints,
Thoroughbreds, Draft Horses & Standardbreds, and also
showed on the college's Intercollegiate Hunt Seat team
2yrs.
After attending SUNY Morrisville and
majoring in Equine Science & Management, she moved to
Washington State and teamed up with Julie Graham of
Graham Training Center who specializes in
Training/Showing & Breeding Arabians & Paint Horses.
After a year or so she started a photography & video
business called Equine Portrait Studio which specializes
in the Arabian & Paint Horse breeds.
Becky currently shows on the Arabian
& Pinto Horse Circuits and mainly rides Hunter Pleasure
but is working towards showing Western Pleasure. She is
an USEF, Arabian Horse Association & Pinto Horse
Association Member.
Additionally, Becky runs another business designing and
hosting websites specializing in the equine & equestrian
industry. Along with her husband Geoff King, she helps
manage 2 equestrian related websites,
Equestrian Pages - an online equestrian community &
Equestrian Journal - an online journal/blog hosting
site for the equestrian.
Equine Portrait Studio is partners
with Graham Training Center offering a great marketing
package for trainers, breeders & owners interested in
having their horse prepared for sale or promotion.
We are proud to specialize in the Arabian & Paint horse
breeds but are not limited to other breeds and or
animals.
